Oliver Perry Woodruff

Oliver Perry “Buddy” Woodruff, Sr., 81, a resident of Lowndesboro, Al., died Saturday, April 2, 2005. A life long resident of Lowndes County, he was a farmer,

a retired Probate Judge and a longtime Deacon of Lowndesboro Presbyterian Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Dorabel McGavock Woodruff. Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Oakview Cemetery in Lowndesboro.

He is survived by two sons Robert E. (Jackie) Woodruff of Lowndesboro, Ala., and O. Perry (Kent) Woodruff, Jr. and wife

of Selma, Al., three granddaughters Roberta K. Woodruff of Destin, Fla., Caroline H. Woodruff and Anne P. Woodruff both of Selma, Al., and one sister Mildred Ceil (Nick)DeFazio. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Leak-Memory Chapel is directing.
