To the editor:
I shall like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dr. Fannie Major-McKenzie on her appointment as Superintendent of the Dallas County School System.
I encourage all stakeholders within the Dallas
County community to pray for her and to give her your unconditional support.
Her career spans from 1979 to the present.
Throughout her tenure she served as teacher, administrator, and Special Education Coordinator.
Dr. Major-McKenzie has done an outstanding job.
Dr. Major-McKenzie is always willing to go the “extra mile” in any endeavor she is assigned.
She is a very conscientious and compassionate person who always places the children of Dallas County as her number one priority.
Her greatest strength lies in the professional way she handles any task she performs.
Professionalism is a must for school leaders of today and Dr. Major-McKenzie exemplifies this valuable attribute.
It has been my pleasure to have known Dr. Major-McKenzie as an educator and friend.
I am convinced that she will successfully lead the Dallas County School System to greater heights.
I truly wish the very best for Dr. Fannie Major-McKenzie and the Dallas County School System.
