Centa Brewer, 93, resident of Selma, passed away January 12, 2012 at home. Services will be held January 21, 2012, 12:00 p.m. at Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Willie Johnson. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Centa is preceded in death by spouse and parents.

Centa is survived by two sons, Walter Brewer and James Brewer; four daughters, Doris Davidson, Mattie Brewer, Georgia Smiley, and Olivia Quarles; two sisters, Sarah Johnson and Hattie Myles; twenty grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be The Brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Phi chapter.
