Gladys Oleane Duck, age 84 passed away Thursday, July 1 at home.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Dale and Debbie D. Gray, Plantersville with Rev. Rosco Kornegey officiating. Burial will follow in the home place cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at the residence of Dale and Debbie D. Gray, Plantersville.

Mrs. Duck is survived by her one son: Louie Carl Duck, two daughters: Debbie D. (Dale) Gray and Thommisene Barnett: six grandchildren: Debra Jean Sparman, Dustin Cleburne Osborne, Charles Thomas Barnett, Barbara Ann Renshaw, Stasha Kay Duck, and Steven Dustin Duck; five great-grandchildren: Brooke Sparman, Abigail Osborne, D. J. Chapman, Crystal Barnett, and Michael Barnett; eleven great-great grandchildren: Juda Posey, Joy Posey, Mirissa Ann Barnett, Dalton Gray, Heather Gray, Dustin Gray, C. R. Smith, Daniel Smith, Kimberly Oates, Megan Oates, and Kalup Oates; five step-grandchildren: Kyle Gray, Chris Gray, Roger “Noodie” Gray, LaShay Smith, and Cristi Oates; one brother: Floyd (Dixie) Ellison, and two sisters: Emma Ruth (Dick) Ausburn, and Lurleane Varden.

The pallbearers will be Dustin Osborne, Chris Osborne, Thomas Barnett, Roger Dale Gray, Tracy Abbott, John Oates, and Dale Gray.
