The 2004 Dixie Pre-Majors and Majors All-Tournament baseball teams were announced Wednesday by Elton Reece, director of Selma Parks and Recreation.

These players will represent the City of Selma and Dallas County in the District 4 Tournament July 2-8 in Wetumpka.

The Pre-Majors (ages 15-16) will be coached by Robert Massey.

Team members include Ben Callaway, Cody Massey, Blake South, Ware Cox and Cody Warrington from Bush Hog.

They will be joined by Dixie 100 players Zach Hughey and Byron Sewell.

Joining the squad from Henry Brick will be Terrell Roper.

Pinebelt Wireless will be represented on the All-Tourney Team by Jacob Paxton.

Selma Orthopedics players include Tyler Hollis and Josh McAteer. Those representing Taber Construction are Quinton Pernell, Cajun Pritchett and John B. Solomon.

Andrew Harrison and Shane Moreland will represent Steve’s Service Center on the Pre-Majors squad.

The Majors (ages 17-19) team will be coached by Mike Collins.

Collins’ squad will be made up of Donald Steele from Bush Hog, Chase Knight from Dixie 100, Rick Brignac, Clint Cooper, Josh Gardner, Reid Tolar and Mathew Taccone from Henry Brick.

Chris Sewell from Pinebelt Wireless, Robert Collins, Justin Irwin, Justin Hollis, Jeremy Smith and Jarvis Wormley from Selma Orthopedics and Spence Roe from Tabor Construction.
