Louis Nichols Webb

Louis Nichols Webb, 102, of Marion, died April 16, 2004, at a Perry County Nursing Home.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday, April 19, at Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel.

Services are scheduled for Monday, April 19, at 11:30 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Larry Teasley, directed by Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel.

Survivors include four nieces, Virginia England, Selma; Josephine (Barnett) Lee, Lansing, Mich.; Mary E. Glass, Gallion, a daughter, Mary Katherine (Richard) Avery, Marion; three nephews Charles (Jenny) Holmes, Marion; Leland (Connie) Hudson, Morgantown, W.V.; Jon Nichols, Kentwood, Mich.; and a number of great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marion United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 85, Marion, AL, 36756.

Lenora Haggard

Lenora Haggard died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at her home.

Services were held Sunday, April 18, at the United Baptist Church, Lawley, officiated by the Rev. O.C. Dobynes. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 20, at 1 p.m. at Cooper Cemetery, in Centreville. The Rev. Lee O. King will officiate. Les and Rollins Funeral Home are directing the services.

Ms. Haggard is survived by Billy Haggard, Ohio; Louise Richardson; Geraldine Alexander; Joan Wilkerson; Edith Boon, Colorado; Menzo Haggard Jr.; Geraldine Haggard, Mich.; Garnald Fenderson, N.Y.; David and Donna Haggard; Francis Geter Dailey, three sisters, Della Barnes; Ida Mae Barns; Annie Mae Griffin, three son-in-law; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was married to the late Mr. Menzo Haggard, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was one of ten children, Bernice Smith.
