A search warrant brought two Selmians into custody on Friday for allegedly trafficking cocaine.
Law enforcement officers apprehended Marquita Lanette Harris, 19, and Frederick Dewayne Graves, 30, around 3:30 p.m. Friday at a Pollard Street address. Three ounces of what appeared to be crack-cocaine were found along with two handguns and $1,805 in cash. Both were charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sent to the Dallas County Jail.
Graves was given a $500,000 bond; Harris $250,000.
According to Evans, an ongoing narcotics investigation led to the search warrant.
