Ann Lowe Mackin
Ann Lowe Mackin, 76, of Tuscaloosa, died Monday, April 7, 2003, in Tuscaloosa.
Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Old Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, with Father Carroll Plourde officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Muriel Mackin; six nephews; and four nieces.
Active pallbearers are Cooper Mackin, Tom Mackin, John Mackin, Dan Mackin, Steve Mackin ad Jimmy Mackin.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mackin was the wife of the late John Ball Mackin.
Warren Johnson
Warren Johnson, 82, of Coatopa, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at a Demopolis hospital.
Services are at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Coatopa, with the Rev. Wesley Winston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home directing.
The body will lie in state at the church beginning at 12 noon.
Willie Anderson
Willie Anderson, 73, of Selma, died Saturday, April 5, at his home.
Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, Pastor Ronald Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Walker Mortuary directing.
Survivors include parent, Daisy and Catherine Anderson; two sons, Walter Rogers and William Rogers; three daughters, Rebecca Soles, Azile Rogers and Helen Rogers Williams; one brother, Jimmy Anderson; a host of grand and great-grandchildren; son-in-law, William Williams Jr.; one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are family and friends.
Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church, and was very well known in Selma.
