Morton is blossoming

With three years of playing basketball on an organized level, John Robert Morton is doing a pretty good job. Morton is a junior at Meadowview Christian High School, and he has turned into one of the premier players in the Alabama Independent School Association.
Morton averages 18.1 points a game, and his defensive skills are just as good as his offensive skills. Morton is 6-foot-5 and he is just a junior.
Being the only 11th grader on the team has not slowed Morton down a bit. He has dominated in the area this year,
putting up double figures in just about every game this season, and it looks like he has no intention of slowing down.
With dreams of playing in the NBA in most kids’ minds, Morton is more worried about getting a college education than any other thing.
Attending Alabama is not a bad thing considering that Morton describes his style of play more like Erwin Dudley than anyone else.
With a strong support system from family and friends, everyone could be talking a lot about Morton next year, and where he will end up playing his college ball.
