Last month, Vaughan Regional Medical Center CEO Barry Keel announced he was leaving the hospital after six years. This week, Vaughan announced the arrival of an interim CEO as the national search for a permanent replacement continues.

LifePoint Hospitals announced David Sirk has joined the staff of the hospital as interim CEO effective May 1.

“David brings to Vaughan Regional more than 30 years of hospital leadership experience,” said Don Bivacca, president of the national division of LifePoint Hospitals, of which Vaughan is a part. “I am confident that his expertise in quality improvement, physician recruitment and retention, and day-to-day hospital operations will serve the organization well during this period of transition.”
