Council to weigh tax hikes

The Selma City Council will hold a
public hearing today at 6 p.m. to allow citizens to have input on a series of proposed tax increases.
Proposals include:
The last increase for business licenses was 10 percent in 1997.
The rental tax rate has not been increased since being established in 1997.
Another public hearing will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m.
