Battle of the unbeatens: Hornets vs. Tigers

The showdown that everybody has been waiting for is finally here. The Dallas County Hornets take Demopolis High School this Friday night in Demopolis at 7:30.
Both the Hornets and the Tigers enter into the game with an 8-0 record, and are very similar. The Hornets are ranked seventh
in the state in 4A football and the Tigers are fifth. Both teams are playing excellent ball headed into Friday night’s game, and their closest opponent all year has been Fayette. The Tigers barely edged Fayette last week, and the Hornets beat them by 20 points, but it was still a hard fought game.
This game is key to who either team will face heading into the play-offs, and would make things a lot easier on the Hornets if they can pick up the win.
Matthu Travis, one of the Hornets key defensive players feels the same way.
With each team coming into the game as equals, it could come down to which team wants the game worse.
The Demopolis Tigers have an outstanding quarterback and running back in Marco Rembert, who has already put up 1019 yards this year.
Being able to contain him could be the key to the Hornets success on Friday night.
