Lady Kent West Zetwick

Lady Kent West Zetwick, 85, of Walhalla, SC passed on May 11th, 2012 following a short battle with cancer.

Lady Kent was married to the late Robert R. Zetwick for 59 years. Lady Kent and Robert had lived in Walhalla for 48 years.

Lady Kent was born in Selma, AL to the late James Kent West and Mary Louise Clark West. Additionally, she was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.

Growing up on a farm, Lady Kent loved hunting & fishing, horseback riding, raising farm animals, and playing basketball and softball. Mrs. Zetwick was retired from Walhalla Middle School with 20 years of service as a Teacher’s Aide where she thoroughly enjoyed helping all her students. Lady Kent enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, NASCAR, playing tennis and all Clemson sports – especially football and basketball.

Mrs. Zetwick was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church of Walhalla and Pisgah Presbyterian Church of Selma, AL.

Lady Kent is survived by son Robert J. and wife Deborah D. Zetwick of Plano, Texas, and son James K. Zetwick of Palm Bay, Florida.

There will be no formal services per the wishes of Mrs. Zetwick.
