HOPE HULL — The Alabama Department of Public Safety Community Information Center is listing two Lowndes County children as missing.

Jordan Alexander Dejerinett and Taylor Alexanera Dejerinett, 9-year-old black, male and female twins, were last seen in Hope Hull on Sunday, June 3, according to Department of Public Safety information. Jordan was wearing a black shirt and badge shorts and Taylor was wearing a blue and white jump suit.

The children were in the company of Jack Mac Girdner, a 73-year-old white male. Girdner’s white 1988 Mercedes 560 SEL is also missing. They were last seen south of Montgomery.

Authorities said the children are considered endangered.

Jordan is listed as 4-feet, 1-inch and 70 pounds. Taylor is listed as 4-feet, 2-inches and 50 pounds.

Lowndes County Sheriff John Williams would only say the case is under investigation.

Lowndes County Sheriff’s investigator Chris West says Girdner has known the children’s family for about three years. He says authorities believe the children might be with the man.
