Albert Floyd Blakeney
Albert Floyd Blakeney, 96, of Selma, formerly of Aliceville, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at a local hospital.
Graveside services are at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery, Aliceville, with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include a son, Dwight Floyd (Annie), of Tuscaloosa; a daughter, Julia (Ross) Hobbs of Selma;
three grandchildren, Callie Smith Hobbs, Antoine Thomas and Brandon Blakeney, three brothers, Boyd (Eleanor Grace) of Coker, M. B. (Pat) of Mobile, and his twin, Lloyd (Grace) of Aliceville; two sisters, Ruth (Bob) Ricks and Agnes (Buddy) Latham both of Tuscaloosa.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mildred Driver Blakeney, his parents, and two sisters Odell Blakeney and Ora Blakeney.
Family visitation will be from 10 -11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in the Sapps Community prior to graveside service.
Active pallbearers are his grandsons and nephews, James V. Blakeney, Tommy Blakeney, Michael Blakeney, and Johnny Heritage.
Mr. Blakeney worked for 50 years in the textile industry and farmed in the Sapps community. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
Willie Luther Reeves
Willie Luther &uot;Bill&uot; Reeves, 82, of Selma, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at a local hospital.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. John Ackerman officiating and Selma funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Reeves of Jones; three sons, Felix (Mandy) Reeves of Jones, James (Debbie) Rolling of Jones and Eddie Rolling of Andalusia; three daughters, Grace (Glenn) Utt of Sanford, Kay Hernandez and Carolyn Rolling of Tampa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Ardell B. McIntyre
Ardell B. &uot;Mac&uot; McIntyre died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at a local hospital.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Queen of Peace Church with Father Carroll Plourde officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Jean H. McIntyre of Selma; daughters, Debbie (Bill) Seal of Elba, Donna (Allan) Hoke of Orange Beach and Diana (Mickey) Lambert of Hattiesburg, Miss.; sister, Veronica Vasek of St. Cloud, Minn.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers are Bill Seal, Allan Hoke, Mickey Lambert, Josh Seal, Will Hoke, Heath Lambert, Noah Lambert and Alex Lambert.
Family visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, at Lawrence Funeral Home, with Rosary service from 6-7 p.m..

Jimmie Richardson, 83, of Orrville, died Friday, May 30, 2003.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Salem P.B. Church, Orrville, with the Rev. Eugene Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
