Clairene Johnson Rees age 90 of Marion passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at Perry County Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 23, 2010 at Pine Flat Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev Jim Waters officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Rees is preceded in death by her husband, Roland L. Rees, parents, Walter W. and Mamie Carter Johnson, sisters, Lucille Logan (Charlie), Mary Johnson, Odessa Johnson, and two brothers, Walter S. Johnson and Aubrey Johnson.
As the oldest member of her family Mrs. Rees was very proud to be a part of five living generations. She is survived by her niece, Anita Logan Barton (Aubrey), nephew, Walter Charles Harrison, great-niece, Claire Brock (John), great-nephews, Stewart Barton (Jennifer), Roland Harrison, Ricky Harrison (joy), Randy Harrison, great great-nieces, Ashley Brock Caldwell (Trey), Lauren Barton Hinote Taylor, Brittany Harrison, Lauren Harrison, a great great-nephew Caleb Harrison, and one great great great-niece, Ava McKenzie Hinote.
