Frances Hardy

Frances Smiley Hardy, 69, a resident of Sardis, passed December 30, 2009 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon Saturday January 9, 2010 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Pastor John L.Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery directed by J. H. Wil-liams &Sons Funeral Home. “Sally”, as she was affectionately known to her family, was the last of eight children born to the late Ida and Sherman Smiley.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Willie J. Hardy of Pleasant Hill; and seven children; Curtis (Wendy) Martin of Birmingham, AL, Anthony (Daphine) Hardy, Judith Hardy and Rodney (Dorothy) Hardy of Selma, Claudia Hardy, Wenona (Douglas, Sr.) Taylor and Sharonda Hardy all of Birmingham.
