February 25, 1953 – April 6, 2009 KEIZER – Gary was born in Selma, Alabama to Bill and Nickie Taylor. He graduated from Selma High School and the University of Montevallo in Alabama. Gary moved to Oregon and has worked as a financial officer in several related businesses. At the time of his death, he was working as CFO of Greer Brothers in Salem and a part-time mortgage broker for Landmark Mortgage. Gary was a long-time member of the People’s Church and had been on the Board of Teen Challenge. He was an avid golfer and a member of Salem Golf Club. He also was a die hard University of Alabama football fan. Gary was predeceased by his father and brother, Wayne. He is survived by his mother, Nickie; niece, Nicholas (Brian) Seymore of Selma, Alabama and their three children. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 9 at People’s Church, 4500 Lancaster Dr. NE., Salem. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Elkdale Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are by City View Funeral Home.
