Bruce Arnold

Bruce Albert Arnold, of Selma, AL, died at his home at River Oaks on Saturday, March 7, 2009, after a battle with lung cancer. Bruce was born in Columbus, GA on January 22, 1943. He moved to Selma, AL in 1970. Bruce owned and operated Dallas Glass Co., Inc. for approximately 35 years. He was a member of the Elks for approximately 33 years. He was also on the Board of Directors of Pioneer Electric and a member of the Alabama 60 Plus Golf Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Robert L. Arnold and Mrs. Helen Limbaugh Arnold. Surviving are his wife of eight years, Linda Lutz Arnold; his daughter, Bobbi Jo Arnold Talbot (Layne) of Selma, AL; a step-son, Shane Lutz (Jennifer) of Clanton, AL; grandchildren, Kelsey Ann Talbot, Taylour Nichol Talbot, Bruce Christopher Talbot, Braxton Layne Talbot and Logan Lutz; three siblings, Jerry McLeod (Sandy) of Daphne, AL, Gloria Sellers of GA and Helen Lane (Alan) of Georgia and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on March 14, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Don Acton officiating.
