Kathryn Summerville

Kathryn Summerville, widow of Robert Harold Summerville, died July 18 in Selma. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Selma at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 20. Dr. Ron Stone will officiate. Private burial will be in Greensboro, Alabama.
Kathryn was born in Greensboro, AL on August 8, 1952. Her father, James Venters Bonds, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Robert Tutwiler Summerville of Selma. Other survivors are: her mother and stepfather, Elizabeth Taylor Tutwiler and Pascal Ashe Tutwiler, III of Greensboro; her brothers James Venters Bonds and his wife Maricay, Michael Hoyt Bonds and his wife Jolean, Bruce Anthony Bonds, and Paul Taylor Bonds and his wife Karen.
Kathryn held a BS degree in Social Science from the University of West Alabama and a Masters in Library Service from the University of Alabama. She was a librarian in the Selma Public Schools for many years.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the library of your choice.
