Gasoline prices rose last week

Average retail gasoline prices in Alabama have risen 1.3 cents per gallon the past week.
This rise means an average of $2.56 per gallon on Sunday, comparing with the national average increase of 0.7 centers per gallon or $2.74 per gallon, according to the gasoline price website AlabamaGasPrices.com.
Prices in Alabama on Sunday were 6.1 cents per gallon higher than the same day a year ago and 4.4 cents a gallon lower than a month ago.
The national average has decreased 0.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 13.5 cents per gallon higher than Sunday a year ago.
