Nancy C. Martin, age 90 of Selma passed away on Friday July 23, 2010 at a local nursing home. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Monday July 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David and Rev. Betsy Powell officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Davis Martin, Jr. and her granddaughter Stella Delacy Martin.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her children, David D. Martin III (Monique), Mark Corr Martin (Patricia), James Thomas Gee Martin , Nancy Corr Martin, Julie Martin Hanes (P. Frank III), her grandchildren, David D. Martin IV (Christina), James Bedford Gee Martin (Lori), Benjamin Davis Martin (Bethany), Daniel Stephens Martin, Casey Dozier Martin, Kathryn Zoe Arp, Julia Blair Brewer, Nancy Hanes Ess (Joel), P. Frank Hanes IV, Alice Poindexter Hanes, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, James Vanis Corr (Judy), Robert Houston Corr, a sister, Alice Corr Rogers (John), and a sister-in-law, Sonia P. Martin.
