Dear editor,
Looking for something to do this summer? Try out the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, a walk in the festival park and a play at ASF are the ticket to cool recreation this season. In my opinion, for the price of the ticket and the professional entertainment, you will find a play that meets your entertainment needs.
Recently I went to “Beehive The 60s Musical Sensation. The play was great. Full of music, songs from the 1960s and dance. Beehive featured six talented high-energy ladies, who sang songs from the era. the ladies are professional singers and were very interactive with the audience and never missed a beat while interacting with the audience.
You could feel the moment of the 60s as the cast heated up the stage. They set the mood through narration of the day between songs. A welcome cool breeze of air condition ble across my face during the how and I was glad. This show is hot and is a must see this summer. Beehive features 37 songs and two acts.
A seven-piece rocking live band that was made up of professional musicians. They were tied together tight and never missed a beat through the show.
Songs include “My Boy Friends Back,” “It’s My Party,” “Downtown,” “Proud Mary,” “One Fine Day,” and many, many more.
