AUM-Montgomery, the same team Selma defeated less than 12 hours earlier, eliminated the Dallas County squad 7-2 in Tuesday’s early game of the Dixie Boys State Tournament in Eaufaula.

Selma had beaten AUM-Montgomery 6-1 Monday night to earn a chance at the title.

With the loss by AUM-Montgomery, three teams were tied with one loss apiece: Selma, AUM-Montgomery and Troy. Troy drew the bye and faced AUM-Montgomery in the 11:30 a.m. championship. The results were not available.
