The Democratic nominee for governor, Ron Sparks, is turning up the heat and bringing in names and faces.
I’ve already told you about former President Bill Clinton coming in Thursday for a $1,000 per-person visit at the Summit Club in Montgomery.
Al.com reports former presidential candidate Gen. Wesley Clark is stumping with Sparks.
Sparks, 27, faces Dr. Robert Bentley, the Republican nominee, in the Nov. 2 general election.
Clark retired in 2000 as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander for Europe.
While on the campaign trail with Sparks Wednesday, Clark advocated a state lottery to help fund education.
