Francis Marion (0-3) had stronger passing and throwing in the game against American Christian, but it was not enough for the win.
They lost 47-26 to American Christian Friday.
Radge Turner threw two touchdown passes, one to Jalen Essex and one to Ladarius Tabb. Turner also rushed one touchdown and Tabb ran a kickoff return 93 yards for a touchdown.  “Tonight’s game was not a disappointment,” said Javarius Jackson, Francis Marion’s head coach. “It was an improvement for my team.”
Francis Marion will take on the Hayneville Central at Hayneville on Sept. 17.
