Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Kincey Green, Jr. of Selma, Alabama announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Kincey to Ryan Christopher Robertson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Terry Robertson, Jr. of Lake Martin.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Nell Calhoun Edwards of Selma and the late George Littleton Edwards and the late Anna Norris Green and Bailey Kincey Green.
Miss Green is a 2002 graduate of John Tyler Morgan Academy and a magna cum laude graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She was affiliated with Kappa Delta sorority serving as Vice President of Membership. Miss Green was also a member of Mortar Board and Phi Kappa Phi honoraries.
Miss Green received a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Alabama School of Law in May, 2010 and is currently serving as Legislative Counsel for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee staff of Senator Jeff Sessions in Washington, D.C.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Sherry Slovensky Howlett and James Edwin Howlett of Sulphur, Louisiana and the late Jimmy Lynn Slovensky and Ann Brannon Robertson of Lake Martin, Alabama and the late William Terry Robertson.
Mr. Robertson is a 2003 graduate of Auburn High School and a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management. He was affiliated with Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He is currently serving as Executive Director of The Life Care Center of Gray, Tennessee.
The wedding will take place October 9, 2010 in Point Clear, Alabama.
