When family and friends visited home over the America’s independence holiday, the most popular question was who is Mark Duke?

The had been following up with our hometown news.

They also asked, who among us leaders in the city, county and state government spoke up against what The Selma Times Journal and Elkdale pastor and others were doing?

The people who were asking these questions are people who left Selma because they knew they wouldn’t tolerate the way the people here just accept fearful reprisals.

So much for the good ole Selma hospitality!
