James A. Hare, age 65, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma died on December 23, 2012.

Jimmy was born and grew up in Selma. He graduated from Marion Institute and attended the University of Alabama. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Judge James A. Hare and Katheryn T. Hare and his brother William T. Hare.

Survivors include his sisters Virginia T. Hare and Mrs. John Yauger (Susan).

Graveside services are Friday, December 28 at 11:00 am, New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Joe Knight officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Selma, Alabama.
