New horizons for Selma-Dallas County Library

The Selma-Dallas County Public Library has decided to take a bold and technologically- savvy step as it prepares to launch its new e-book program. As of June 1, residents will be able to enjoy the library’s resources beyond its walls as it will take to the digital world and offer more than 15,000 titles through a new website, www.camellia.lib.overdrive.

With all that the library already offers, we commend its staff for reaching new heights and offering the e-book service. The Selma-Dallas County Public Library continuously strives to offer the most cutting edge services, and we applaud them for their diligent efforts.

Although Selma is a smaller town in comparison to cities like Montgomery and Birmingham, our local library treats the community as if it were much larger. Becky Nichols, library director, continuously aspires to better our public library. Without hard-working individuals like Nichols, and other librarians, our library would not be as strong.
