Mr. William Vaiden “Pete” Curry

Mr. William Vaiden “Pete” Curry, Sr., age 72, a resident of Camden, AL, died on Saturday, October 9, 2010.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Camden United Methodist Church, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ed Shirley officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Burial followed in Camden City Cemetery.

The family received friends one hour prior to services at the church.

Mr. Curry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Nell McDuffie “Sister” Curry and daughter, Nell Jones Curry Corte.

He is survived by his son, William Vaiden (Sommer) Curry, Jr. of Camden, AL, grandchildren, Julio “Jay” Corte IV of Daphne, AL, William Vaiden Curry III and Julian Steele Curry of Camden, AL, brothers, James Dickey (Jacque) Curry of Camden, AL, Joe Wallace (Pat) Curry of Dothan, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
