Dallas County Sheriff Harris Huffman said his department received a phone call around 4:14 p.m. Friday concerning the incident, which occurred in the parking lot of Crown Health Care Laundry Services.
“It seemed that two employees were having a disagreement inside the building and they were advised by personnel to cease and desist,” Huffman said. “Moore chased [the victim] in the parking lot with a knife and then began stabbing the victim in the head and neck and arm area.”
After several employees were able to get the weapon from Moore, The victim was then transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center by CARE Ambulance and treated for serious injuries.
Following Moore’s arrest Friday, she was issued a $15,000 bond, which she made. However, after her charge was upgraded, Moore was arrested again Wednesday.
“If it would have been a bigger knife, the victim would have probably died,” said Chief Deputy Randy Pugh of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.
Huffman said the disagreement was allegedly about a man both Moore and the victim knew.
Authorities say the case is still under investigation and no court date has been set for Moore.
