Shooting suspect sketch unveiled

HAYNEVILLE — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service has release the sketch of a suspect in connection with the Aug. 1 shooting of a postal truck driver in Hayneville.
Yulanda N. Burns, of the U.S Postal Inspection Service, said the sketch came from witnesses.
She said the driver continues to recover but would not release details.
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) who committed this crime between 5:30-6 p.m. at the Hayneville Post Office, located 1 Academy Lane.
According to information provided by Burns, law enforcement is actively searching for the suspect depicted in this sketch last seen in a Gold 2002-05 Ford Explorer driven by an African American female with reddish highlights in her hair.
