Margaret Elizabeth Jones Barr, 85, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013.

She is survived by her son, Jerry and daughter-in-law, Gloria (Parker) Barr of Montgomery; three brothers, Raymon Jones of Citronelle, Hershel “Doat” Jones of Jackson and Thomas Jones of Niceville, FL; three sisters, Francis Thomas of Bessemer, Carolyn Pritchett of Wetumpka and Martha Pinkston of Williston, FL; two grandchildren, Ronnie Barr of Anniston and Thereassa McDaniel of Tallassee; six great-grandchildren: Karl, Kyle, Katie, Koen, Braxton and Donovan; 32 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Family Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Chapel Services will be at the funeral home, Saturday, August 31 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside following at New Live Oak Cemetery. Gordon Gibbs will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Jones, David Pritchett, Kenneth McDaniel, Ronnie Barr, Karl McDaniel and Caylen Pritchett. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kyle McDaniel.
