Matilda “Honey” Shelton, 88, resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away August 28, 2013. Services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013, 12:00 noon at Shady Grove Church officiated by Rev. Raymond Brown. Burial will follow in Shelton/Alexander Family Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include two sons, James Shelton and Curtis (Auvrel) Shelton; six daughters, Lula (Phillip) Pickett, Dorothy (Burel) Jones, Elizabeth (Keith) Comier, Brenda Goins, Cathy (Wallace) Ray, and Constance Shelton; nineteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
