Keith dominates Holy Spirit 50-0 to get back on track

The Holy Spirit Titans struggled to move the ball against Keith High School Friday night, falling 50-0 at home.
Holy Spirit managed to gain only 80 yards of total offense and turned the ball over four times on two interceptions and two fumbles.
The Bears jumped out to an early lead, scoring 30 points in the first quarter on four touchdowns. Keith added to its lead in the second quarter, pushing the score to 50-0 at halftime.
Keith quarterback Maurice Crumpton opened the scoring for the Bears, scoring on a 6-yard touchdown run on the team’s opening drive. He followed it up with four touchdown passes during the Bears’ next six drives to put the score out of reach for the Titans.
Crumpton finished the game a perfect 4-for-4 on passing with 176 yards and four touchdowns.After halftime, the quarters were reduced to six minutes.
Keith coach Harry Crum was pleased with the win after a tough loss to Elwood Christian in the team’s last game.
“Had a little hiccup last week. … We had a tremendously hard week of practice and just told the guys we got to get focused, and I think they were pretty focused tonight,” Crum said.
Keith finished the game with 403 yards of offense. In the first half, they compiled 345 yards of total offense.
