Nancy Cunningham Mathis, 70, a resident of Deatsville, AL, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. A family memorial service will be held at a later date on Sanibel Island, Florida. Mrs. Mathis is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, John Mathis; daughters, Christy Mathiews (Ray), Cindy Edwards (Jeff), Julie De La Tour (Ghislain); sister, Cindy Fink; niece, Katie Grubbs (Scott); cousins, Gene and David Brown; and grandchildren, Haley, Peyton, Tucker, Mallory, Emily and Philippe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Montgomery YMCA Camp Chandler or The Humane Society of Elmore County in memory of Nancy Mathis.
