Mrs. Odessa Howard-Harris, 79, resident of Plantersville, AL, passed away November 9, 2013, at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2013, 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church officiated by Rev. James Dixon, Jr. Burial will follow in Lil Zion Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma. Survivors include sons, Marvin Harris, Jr., William (Sharon) Harris, and Michael Harris; five daughters, Patricia (Plese), Willie Mae, Bernice, and Susie Harris, Charlene (Eldred) Fuller; brother, Richard Dixon Sr.; two sisters, Ada Smitherman and Lillian Dixon; thirty seven grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one sister-in-law, six nieces, and six nephews;twoaunts, Mary McCary and Ovetta Caver. Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
