Morgan Academy’s Lady Senators were overmatched in a 49-13 loss to South Choctaw in their final game of the Morgan Pepsi Classic.

The Senators trailed 29-5 at halftime and 43-9 after three quarters.

“At one point I told them, don’t look at the scoreboard,” Morgan head coach Jennifer Moore said. “Don’t worry about the scoreboard. Just worry about hustling and trying to run plays and being on the floor defensively.”

Morgan shot nine percent from the field in the game. The Lady Senators next game is Jan. 4 at Meadowview Christian.
