Bears boys come from behind to defeat Ellwood

Keith rallied in the second half to come from behind in a 63-56 win over county rival Ellwood Christian.
The Bears trailed by seven at the half after shooting 5-for-32 in the first half. Keith found its offense in the second half, scoring 47 points.
Keith opened up a 14-point advantage in the third quarter and the Eagles were never able to get closer than ten the rest of the game.
John Pettway had 16 points and six rebounds to lead the Bears in scoring. Demond Homes had 14 points and Walton Young added 13 for the Bears. Jalen Furlow led Ellwood Christian with 24 points.
Keith can lock up hosting the area Class 1A, Area 5 tournament by winning Friday night at Autaugaville.
