Shooting suspect now in custody

The suspect connected to a Friday morning shooting on Alabama Avenue is now in custody.
Lakeisha Michelle Prince, 39, of Selma, accompanied by her attorney, turned herself in to authorities Monday morning.
Details on Prince’s charges have not been released.
Prince was wanted by Selma Police for her reported involvement in a shooting on the 2700 block of Alabama Avenue, where authorities found a Selma man, in his 30s, lying on the floor. The man, reportedly in critical condition, had been the victim of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
According to Lt. Curtis Muhannad with the Selma Police Department, the victim and witnesses said the victim was reportedly shot by his ex-girlfriend, Prince, with a small silver revolver.
After the shooting Prince was reported to have left the scene in a white Honda.
