John Dobbs, age 88, of Selma, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014.

He is preceded in death by Edna Ruth Dobbs, Clarine Causey Dobbs; daughter: Barbara Green; and son in law: Richard Hileman.

Mr. Dobbs is survived by his sons: Raymond (Faye) Dobbs, Larry (Regina) Dobbs, Jimmy Dobbs, George A. (Patsy) Spiegner ; daughters: Jean (Jimmy) Akins, Betty Hileman, Edna (Norman) McDonald, Sarah (Earl) Livingston, Peggy (Bobby) Atchison ; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. James Bozeman officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be at Lawrence Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 1 from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
