Ms. Pinkie L. Smith, 61, resident of Orrville, AL, passed away March 28, 2014 at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2014, 12:00 noon at New Hope Apostolic Church officiated by bishop Joe Brown. Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery , Orrville, directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service.

She is preceded in death by spouse William Smith, Jr.; mother, Elizabeth Carson Pilgram; brother, Joel Pilgrim.

Survivors include son, William Smith, III; one step daughter, Catheryn (Cornell) Johnson; brothers, Cleveland Pilgrim, Birmingham, Johnnie (Mattie) King of Selma; two sisters, Anna (Tommy) Watson and Mary Young of Selma; four grandchildren, a host nieces, nephews, and friends.
