Mary Sweeney Davis age 70 a homemaker of Catherine, AL., died May 24, 2014 at her home. She was born October 11, 1943 in Mobile, AL. She was a member of the Catherine Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Edward B. “Ted” Davis of Catherine, AL; son, Philip (Kim) Ryals of Surginer, AL; daughter, Ashley (Kenny) Scruggs of Camden, AL; sister, Patricia Childres of Robertsdale, AL, 2 grandchildren, Devony Bowden of Brewton, AL., and Aden McRee of Camden, AL; great grandchild, Zane Bowden of Brewton, AL

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville, AL., on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held at the Catherine Cemetery on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 am with Dr. John Niblett and Rev. Jim Waters officiating.
