William “Bill” Monroe Veach, Jr., 61, of Valley Grande, Alabama, passed away on June 9, 2014.

Bill was born and raised in Selma and loved beagles, Auburn football, and a medium rare steak. His 6’3” frame made him easy to spot around town, but his tender heart made him easy to love. He gave back with an open hand to his community, serving in numerous civic organizations and in recent years volunteering as a coach for the Dallas County High School girls’ softball team.
