A Selma woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon.

Wilma M. Dudley, 61, died when the 2004 Jeep Liberty she was driving left the roadway and overturned. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 80, two miles east of Selma in Selmont.

Alabama State Troopers declined provide any additional information on the accident, as they continue to investigate what led to the accident.

According to an obituary from Walker Mortuary in Selma, Dudley died at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral arrangements for Dudley were incomplete as of Monday afternoon.
