Speak up for the family

It is hard to imagine that a young man walking down one of the busiest roads in Dallas County could have just vanished, but that seems to be the case for Orlando Woods.
The 29-year-old left the Dallas County Jail and wasn’t seen until police found his body in a ditch on Race Street.
There was some speculation in the beginning about a prisoner who had a problem with Woods. No matter what the argument was about, no one deserves to be found in a ditch weeks after your family reported you missing.
It might be easy to label Orlando, but what’s the point in that? It would only hurt members of his family, and haven’t they already suffered enough?
For six months they have known that their loved one was murdered, but by who? That thought must run through their heads daily. The police have and continue to search for every possible clue, but after so long, the trail becomes colder and colder.
Yet, there has to be someone in the area who must have seen something. It might seem insignificant at first, but who knows what will unravel once the first thread is pulled?
If someone knows something but is scared to tell, imagine how you would feel if Orlando was your brother, father or friend.
