SAKS rallies against Dallas County in 7th to win

MONTOMGERY — Dallas County High School softballers got an early lead in the first game of state tournament play today and continued to lead 1-0 through seven innings, but couldn’t overcome a SAKS rally in the 7th.
In the top of the seventh SAKS got on a roll.
Two out with runners on second and third, Kyla Goedde stepped up to the plate and drove in those two in the top of the seventh.
Just seconds ago, Taylor West drove in Goedde to make the lead 3-1, SAKS.
DCHS’s last three batters were retired in order.
DCHS plays the winner of the Ardmore and Corner game at 5 p.m.
