Meadowview Christian’s boys basketball season ended a couple of days earlier than the Trojans were hoping. 

Meadowview lost to Tabernacle Christian 57-47 Thursday in the quarterfinal round of the Alabama Christian Athletic Association’s state tournament. The Trojans had won both regular season meetings against Tabernacle this year, but trailed seemingly the entire way Thursday.

Tabernacle led 23-20 at halftime and 38-35 after three quarters.

Jevar McGuire led the way for the Trojans with 12 points. Sam Dabit also had 10 and Garret Granthum had 9. Meadowview finished the season at 13-5. The tournament is being played the Oxford Civil Center in Oxford and will run through Saturday.
