Ms. Eliza E. Carstarphen, age 95, resident of Montgomery, died April 13, 2015. Services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Services with burial following in Lynch Field Cemetery in Coy. Survivors include: niece, Margaret C. Henry of Los Angeles; nephew, Garrett (Patricia) Carstarphen of Montgomery; niece, Aline Jenkins Howard of Mobile; nephew, James Henry of Los Angeles; niece, Adrienne Brown of Knoxville, Tenn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eliza was the last child of Datus and Alice Castarphen, who proceed her in death, along with 10 of her brothers and sisters: Owen, John, Earnest and Cleo Carstarphen, Lydia Jenkins, Pinkie Bogan, Ella Charley, Rosetta Packer, Pearlena Stallworth and Leatha Matthews.
